Obam's directive on transgender students using bathroom they identify with in school.

The Obama administration yesterday recommended that all public school districts in the entire country allow transgender students to use whatever bathroom and locker-room that matches their gender identity. In the letter sent to all school districts in the US, transgender students should be allowed to use wherever they want without been asked for documentation to prove their preferred sexuality or medical diagnosis.

In a letter outlining guidance for schools that were sent out yesterday, the administration said as a condition of receiving federal funds, "a school may provide separate facilities on the basis of sex, but must allow transgender students access to such facilities consistent with their gender identity."

The letter says the school should not require any medical diagnosis, nor should they demand documentation reflecting the student's gender identity before taking steps to protect transgender students, "even in circumstances in which other students, parents, or community members raise objections."

Adding that while schools are permitted to offer single-use restrooms to students who want "additional privacy," they should not require transgender students to use single-use facilities if their classmates are not required to do the same.

The letter was signed by officials from the Departments of Justice (DOJ) and Education.

Alongside the letter to school districts, officials will distribute a list of "emerging practices," advice for how to deal with a number of issues, from ensuring faculty uses the student's preferred pronoun to preventing staff from inadvertently disclosing a student's status as transgender.

The best practices document also gives guidance on how schools can "protect the privacy rights of all students," holding up a suggestion from Washington state that recommends offering "students who may feel uncomfortable sharing the facility with the transgender student(s)" the option to use a separate single-occupant restroom.
Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin called the directive 'groundbreaking'. He said in a statement:
“This is a truly significant moment not only for transgender young people but for all young people, sending a message that every student deserves to be treated fairly and supported by their teachers and schools,"

Jussie Smollet was reportedly fired from Empire (see more)photo

 Jussie Smollet

At least that's what MediaTakeOut is claiming. Jussie Smollet announced yesterday that his time on the hit show is done a day after he took a bullet for his dad in the show and people have been wondering why he's leaving.

What happened? Well Jussie and his reps tried to get GREEDY, according to an insider who works with the show. The insider explained, "Terrence [Howard] and Taraji [Henson] are the stars of the show, and they are going to be paid as stars. But the rest aren't going to make huge sums from the show."

As MediaTakeOut.com reported LAST SEASON, Taraji ad Terrence Howard threatened to PULLOUT of Empire when they didn't get a raise. But MediaTakeOut.com's insider explained how FOX managed to get Taraji and Terrence to return. The insider explained, "the contracts were set, so there was nothing that FOX could do to give [Terrence and Taraji] more money. So instead, they did all those one off specials that [the two stars] hosted, and got them paid that way."
Jussie wasn't given the same opportunities - so he was NOT getting paid like a star on the hottest show on television.

MediaTakeOut.com's snitch continued, "Jussie wasn't asking for way too much money - just a nice raise. But the people at FOX were like no,there was no money left in the budget."
Last night Jussie announced that he is leaving the show.

Clinton N’Jie: Can he handle next season with the Spurs?

clinton Njie
The Cameroon international believes that he will come back stronger next season after battling with injury in his first term at the Lane.

Clinton N’Jie believes he will come back better and stronger next season for Tottenham Hotspur after enduring an injury-hit debut season in England.

In December N’Jie underwent surgery to his collateral ligament of his right knee after damaging it against Monaco in their home Europa League tie, leaving him side-lined for just under five months. He made his first appearance for the club since returning from injury after replacing Heung-Min Son in Tottenham’s 1-2 defeat to Southampton.
Positive thinking from Clinton
Talking to Tottenham’s official website, N’Jie said that he “still has a lot to offer” and that his injury will make him like a “new signing”.
He added that he “[wishes to] be fitter” next season so he “can perform how [he] knows [he] can” and so please everyone.

N’Jie joined Spurs this summer from Lyon for a reported £12million yet he is still to make his first Premier League start for the North London club. The 22-year-old has made a total of eight substitute appearances in the Premier League while he has featured in the Europa League five times.
N’Jie, himself has realised how “tough” this season has been for him but insisted on “[thanking] everybody” for being ‘there for [him]”, especially the fans “for giving me such encouraging messages”.
Tottenham “unlucky” with Southampton result
He also added that he, like the rest of the team felt that the result against Southampton was “disappointing” and that they were “unlucky” to leave empty-handed against his boss’s former team.
N’Jie added that Southampton “planned their game very well” as they “scored in the second half and after that they decided to play defensive football”. The forward also praised their “team spirit” which he believes played its part in their win. Yet the Cameroon international insisted that the team are only “[looking] forward to the Newcastle game” as they want to “get the win to end our season perfectly”.

OMG! what is this around this frog's waist? (IMAGES)

This photos of a Frog's 'private' parts were shared on Facebook by Keith Leech, a truck driver from Australia, which caused much hilarity among social media users.
But the ''endowment'' or “penis” is actually believed to be an “extra partially formed leg” as frogs don’t have a penis, according to animal scientists. “It’s not a penis, frogs don’t have them."
"But penises did evolve from ‘legs’ during embryonic development so an extra leg is part way there,”
Gerry Marantelli from the Australian Amphibian Research Centre told BuzzFeed News:
“Amphibians in one way likely invented the penis (albeit not the modern one).” he said.

BRITISH LADY IN NIGERIAN FILM
Its amazing how the secondary language as it has been termed has gotten so much endorsement in a short while even though several English Speaking institutions restrict students from speaking it.

A British actress has landed her first role in a romantic comedy made by one of the best-known film directors in Nigeria.

Claire Edun fits seamlessly into the film because she speaks fluent Nigerian pidgin English.
The BBC’s Martin Patience has been to meet her.
