SEE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE AHADOU AHIDJO STADIUM WHEN CONTRACT IS WITHDRWAN FROM THE CHINESE

 
 The portion of work outside the stadium and at the annex stadiums is at a standstill.
Work is at standstill outside the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium and the annex One and Two stadiums ever since the contract to do that portion of construction work was withdrawn from the Chinese company, Sino Hydro. Though it was said at the time that the contract had been awarded to Arab contractors, there is no sign of the company around the edifice. The make shift buildings that hosted the administrative block of Sino Hydro looks deserted as the company had parked out everything of theirs and there is no sign the new proprietors.
However some four technicians of Arab contractors could be seen going round the edifice inspecting the state of work probably to evaluate what has to be done but they turned down every request to answer questions from our team of reporters preferring to refer them to the office of Egis which is supervising the construction works.
At the Egis office, a source who opted for anonymity disclosed that there is nothing official as to which company was going to take over from Sino-Hydro as both Arab Contractors and Razel were said to be bidding for the contract. Attempts to get the right information from the chief of mission of Egis were futile as the Frenchman said he would only talk if granted permission by the sub director of infrastructure at the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education, which he refused. Our teams of reporters met the said director, Bell Paul who instead preferred to refer them again to the head of the communication unit who confirmed information that no company has officially been awarded the contract yet. He said Arab Contractors and Razel has been shortlisted but are waiting the formal signing of their contracts to begin work. Gabriel Nloga allayed fears that the work won’t be completed on time saying the two companies, are not only going to share the work but also have the capacity to deliver within record time.
Meanwhile young men throng the esplanade of the Ahmadou Ahidjo everyday expecting to clinch a job but no information is given to them as to when construction work will resume and who will do it. Some even erroneously think the contract has been re-attributed to Sino-Hydro and that is why according to them, Arab Contractors has failed to show up. They rushed behind the Arab Contractors technicians as they moved round the stadium expecting to get information on when work will re-commence.
While work is suspended outside the stadium and at the annex One and Two stadiums, working is progressing inside the stadium with the setting up of drainage pipes for the green turf. The presidential tribune is partially demolished and the cycling track around the field scraped. At the military stadium which was also concerned with the cancellation of contract by the Minister of Public Contract, work is progressing with the VIP tribune beginning to emerge out of the ground. Workers could be seen off loading truck loads of construction iron and other building materials. It is worthy to mention that the work here is being carried out by Sino-Hydro the very company that was chased away from the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium where they were supposed to construct infirmaries, public toilets, drinking spots and a 1840- car park as well as renovate the fence and entry points into the stadium.

Just before boarding the plane, the Uruguayan realised that he had left his passport at home. The club had to immediately send a cab to his home to retrieve it in an attempt to delay the charter flight taking the Barça players to London as little as possible. This is a ranking of the National Statistics Institute (Ins) that positions the city of Buea as the most expensive city in Cameroon. The city of Bafoussam and Ngaoundere are a laggard.

In 2015, the cost of living is increasing in Cameroon, inflation rose from 1.9% in 2014 to 2.7% in 2015. This is the general observation made by the National Statistics Institute ( ins).

Only this inflation varies across regions of Cameroon. The regional capital of the Southwest, garners the highest price increase (4.3%). The capital of the northern region, Garoua records 3.6% increase.

Ebolowa (3.5%), Bamenda (2.9%), Yaoundé (2.9%), Douala (2.5%) and Bertoua (25%). inflations observed the flow of food prices, which rose 1.9% in 2015 against 1.0% in 2014.

Including a 4.3% increase in prices of fish, 11.7% smoked fish, meats 1.1%, 3.2% mutton, 2.1% for pork and broiler believes 2%.

Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty as Real Madrid dropped points they could ill afford to squander with a 1-1 draw at Málaga that allowed Barcelona to build a nine-point lead over their great rivals.
Barcelona, who won 2-1 at Las Palmas on Saturday, have 63 points to Real’s 54 with 13 matches remaining.
Atlético Madrid, who play at home to Villarreal later on Sunday and visit Real next Saturday, are level on points with their city rivals.

WOMAN STEALS BABY FROM HOSPITAL.SEE WHO CATCHES HER

On Feb 17th 2016, the lady pictured above was caught after she stole a baby from the Obala District Hospital. The story goes that after stealing the baby, she took an okada rider and paid him 5000 CFA F to drop her at a destination that normally costs 300 CFA F as okada fare. Seing her with a young baby and the urge in her behavior, the okada noticed that something was wrong  somewhere, then decided to turn her in. The baby was given back to the mother, and is in good health. Meanwile the thieve was handed to the police of the Obala town.

 International Cameroonian footballer Samuel Eto'o seems to be tired of fans and haters getting into their feelings on his Facebook page, especially with the on going drama between him and his alleged 7 years mistress Nathalie Koah. The 34-year-old striker addressed the issue yesterday, cautioning fans to be more respectful. A fan by the name Chrys Arnaud Augou (Facebook name) immediately called out Samuel Eto'o. According to Chrys, Samuel Eto'o should publicly admit to his affair with Nathalie Koah and ask for forgive just like the former president of the USA, Clinton did. Samuel Eo'o replied Chrys saying his silence is out of respect for his fans and a major taken to avoid amplifying the heated debate already going on online about him and Nathalie Koah.

Je te remercie tout d'abord pour ton message qui témoigne d'un grand respect, tant par la forme que par le fond. C'est avec tout autant de respect que je me permets d'y répondre. 
Si tu vois dans mon silence un manque de respect, il n'en est rien! Bien au contraire, c'est par respect pour mes fans et autres que j'ai pris la décision de rester calme, et de rester focalisé sur ma famille et mon travail; afin de ne pas amplifier les débats houleux et d'éviter qu'une partie de la toile ne se transforme en instance judiciaire. Il y a des voies et moyens plus adéquats, à mon sens, pour soit mettre des personnes d'accord ou à défaut les départager.
J'espère que ce bout de réponse t'éclairera quelque peu.
