THE YOUNG STAR BEHIND ONE OF THE FINEST CAMEROON BASED CLOTHING LINE (AMARE CESAR).INTERVIEW (photos)

Ngouane Willem is a young entrepreneur who for over the years has been able to put in place a clothing line (AMARE CESAR), hit  10k followers on instagram, organized shows and is getting into the production of the highly Anticipated Fraganzia Magazine. Karawa’s Diary caught up with him a couple of weeks ago and he shared to us what he has been and is still up to

KD:Good morning sir

Mr Ngouane: Good morning. Am glad to have you here with me today

KD: It’s a pleasure to be here. Tell us about you

Mr Ngouane: My name is Ngouane Williem. I am an entrepreneur and a crazy lover of arts.  I was born and raised in the economic capital of Cameroon, Douala. Listening to music, watching soccer games, fashion and arts are a few of my hobbies.

KD: I are so aware of your most acclaimed clothing line Amare Cesar that stormed Cameroon some few years back, especially the youths. What inspired you to start the clothing line and where is the name Amare Cesar from??

MR Ngouane: just like I earlier mentioned, fashion is one of those things I crave for. While still in school, back in 2010 I thought to myself that I could bring out something different and unique as far as fashion was concerned, then was born the idea of a clothing line. At the time, I was also involved in recording and writing music. My friends addressed me Cesar, like the biblical king (he laughs). When the idea of clothing line down on me, I thought of a name that was going to depict greatness when one wears the products. I could not get anything that sounded and looked better than Amare Cesar( meaning Love the King). It was all about loving the king in you as an individual. It was all about the king personality. Now it is gone international.

KD: Amazing. Were they any challenges that came up with the idea and how did you overcome them?

MR Ngouane: first of all I want to say that every real dream comes up with its own challenges and I definitely did face a couple for mine. Building a team and getting the right finances to fund the project at first felt like a night mare. There were many people who ridiculed the whole concept and told me things like am wasting my time. I also knew I was getting into a business that had already existing clothing lines and I personally got scared severally if it was really going to work. Notwithstanding, there was a single thing that kept me going. It’s called FOCUS. There was so much wahala to deal with but I had to stay focused and it kind of fanned my dreams to reality and now the project does exist in reality (the king spirit). Family and a couple of friends were supportive.

KD: how did you know you were in the right place.

MR Ngouane:A dream driven by passion does the treat. However, when I finally started sending the products out for public consumption and had the likes of Petit Pays, Daphne, Fluri Boyz and many other individuals and celebrities wearing it, I was convinced that this is it, this is the right place. (smiles)

KD:How will you describe the industry in 2 words

MR Ngouane: Great Improvement

KD: Amare Cesar has been cold recently. What is cooking?

MR Ngouane: A lot has happened over time. Hard decisions had to be made to redefine the product. I however, want to assure the amare cesar fans that we are coming back stronger than before this 2016. And it will be worth the wait.

KD: how do you manage the arts world and the fashion world?

MR Ngouane: (he laughs) Let me take this moment to announce that my arts profile on instagram just hit 10,000 followers making me one of those few in Cameroon if not the only to hit 10k followers on instagram. Fashion and Arts have a lot in common and as such can be easily handled simultaneously. It has been that easy for. Looks like a merger kind of platform so I really don’t feel the wait because both platforms inspire each other

KD: who are(is) your role model(s)?

MR. Ngouane: (Laughs out loud) When I tell people that my role model is Jay Z especially Cameroonians they will be staring at me with so much curiosity as if to say I cannot have a foreign role model. But that is my role model. If you look into Jay z’s life you will see and entrepreneur, and artists and clothing line owner. That is my identity. That’s what I am going to be in my own way. Samuel Eto’o is one of those I also admire so much. I, growing up to be an inspiration to the younger generation can be a dream come true

KD: Any word for some in the hustle like you or anyone who wants to walk down the road of fashion

MR. Ngouane: the word is BELIEVE

The lamplight as far as 2016 is concerned is shinning much more brighter than the previous

REACTIONS TOWARDS THE DEAD OF THE FORM 4 STUDENT IN SASSE COLLEGE (photo)

St. Joseph’s college Sasse recorded yet again another student dead today. There lies the body of a form 4 student beaten to death by a lowersixth student(s).(that is the story being exchanged so far)
But this got another version of this sad story.According to the spiritual director of St. Joseph’s college Sasse. The deceased student had complained of ill health and went for sports and later collapsed. He refused completely that the student's death resulted from any form of brutality and also made claims of the fact that he had made with the family of the deceased to make such statement clear. But this may not be true as the child had bruises, cane marks and blood stains all over his body. Despite the so many stories and controversial talks that popped up yesterday both from ex students, students and admins, it cannot bring back the live of this ambitious but lifeless form 4 student. And it will also be noted clearly that same school though of very highly profile experience same dead case last year of a student who stabbed another to death..
This is really sad.You send your child to school expecting good result, good success but instead you receive a lifeless body.

According to social media platforms, claims are being made that this was the principals statement as i quote
" Hello group. Greetings. I here by announce the death of a former 4 student who fainted in the cause of jogging in preparation for the physical fitness for the mountain trip that was to take place on 4th of March. He was rushed to Mt Mary hospital were he died after the prompt intervention by the doctors there with oxygen and other treatment. He had spent five months in Sasse. The funeral announcement shall be announced later. Good to know that his death has nothing to do with brutality. The students went jogging with eleven teacher who accompanied them and we're to go with them as usual to the mountain. I have authentic pictures of his corpse after his death taken in the presence of his family which for ethical reasons shall not be put on this forum and the medical report not the photo shopping which I see on face book etc and in authentic reports for what reason I cannot tell.. Anything can go on on Internet but always strive for the truth brothers. I am making this announcement to you because it came up and I am a member.  God bless you brothers."
This is the press release from the principal of Sasse Fr. Peter Nouck

ACCIDENT EN ROUTE TO THE 10th EDITION OF THE INDUSTRY NIGHT. SEE HOW AMAZING THE NIGHT TURNED OUT (photo gallery)

A lot of travelling had to take place to make the highly recognized Industry Nite worthwhile. Part of the organizational team however could not make it to the industry night on time as they got involved in an almost disastrous car accident. No one being hurt from the accident was a miracle and a sign of the blessings that comes with the industry night.

2016’s industry night was one with the biggest investments and one involving huge Finances. The sponsors CIRCA237 (official sponsor) and LE Kokobar Pub, BONGA juice bars all pumped in the money that needed to make the industry night as amazing as it was. The Glamour that radiated from the red carpet could not be over emphasized. It was an extra ordinary view.

Boom TV was to exclusively put the industry night on TV but their absence was influenced by lack lodging as it was the period of the populated Mountain Race of Hope competition. However, the Industry Night Videos are yet to star on the television station pretty soon. BOOM TV is presently Cameroon’s number one TV station as far the promotion of both local and international music is concerned
2016 is basically bringing the mystery of the music industry into physical existence. That of the industry night could not be over emphasized. It was the 10th edition hosted by the exceptional MC Tito Valery. It only gets better and better. The lone and single industry night existing is about to and is already redefining music and entertainment.

The presence of both national and international bodies’ at the most acclaimed chariot Hotel for the show was a clear and unchallenged proof. It was diversity it was style it was music. The industry night is not about the people neither is it about the place it’s all about the love for Cameroonian Music. The red carpet was powerfully graced with all kind of clothing, style and fashion trends.

It will interest you to know that the Industry night is not only attended by Musicians and artists. This year was an indication of awesome growth as the red carpet also had actors in the industry, TV personnel, international artists, fashion designers and lots and lots. Some of this amazing people were present; Limo T Jasino (DESIGNER),Fame Style (designer), Brenda Dery (designer), Ruth Nkwenti(actress), Brice Albein (Nostalgia Radio Douala) and Awa Mic (radio Bamenda).

STUDIO XL GAVE EXCLUSIVE AND AMAZING coverage in photos..YOu will agree

Karawa Diary is going to be doing and assessment of the industry night for this weekend on a couple of things to give you details of every happenings at the 10th EDITION of the industry Night.  STAY TUNED.
