At least six people were killed in the night from Saturday breaking
Sunday in a ghastly accident from Mbanga
The accident was between a passenger transport bus and a
semi-trailer carrying food, agricultural products. It killed at least five
people and left about twenty wounded . The accident took place at Djongo just
before Njombe .
It was around 1am. The driver of the semi-trailer carrying
food products lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a Costar of Menoua
travel agency . The truck came from Douala ( Littoral ) because of the Dschang
(West) road wahala . The bodies were taken to the mortuary of the Mount Kupe
hospital.
According to residents interviewed by journalists on the
spot, over twenty people ( injured ) were carried to the hospital emergency
Saint John of Malta Njombe .
