Twitter user dopelike_mimi was scrolling through her timeline when she was shocked to see a racist tweet saying: ‘African girls are ugly, they’ve just got fat asses’.
Being African herself – she’s from Cameroon – Mimi let her followers know what had happened, before shutting the guy down in the best way possible.
‘Ima make a thread of beautiful African gals in a sec,’ she said, before posting a string of photos of unreal girls from various countries in Africa.
18-year-old Mimi told Metro.co.uk: ‘The tweet made by the boy and many more ignorant comment made towards African girls inspired me to start this thread.
‘I haven’t checked his page to see his reaction – I honestly don’t care how he feels.’
Most pictures were retweeted thousands of times after Mimi posted them.
Her followers were all over the thread, helping it reach others who were equally as inspired.
One said: ‘Literally the baddest thread on Twitter.’
Another added: ‘This thread is on repeat for me.’
KD readers what do you think about this move? I think this is one of those inspiring actions we are suppose to take on social media and not miss use. Kudos to you Mimi.
