The Cameroon Film Industry CFI on heat;political instability

Mr Agbor on the left and Mr Otia on the right
The young and yet to blossom Cameroon Film Industry has been through some ups and downs as far as leadership is concerned. Though this year, 2016 she was able to host the very first International Film Festival CAMIFF, it seems like the battle for leadership is still far from being stable.

Karawa's Diary was present at the General Assembly that took place at Residence Carlos on Saturday the 28th. At this general assembly a new exco for the CFI was put in place. They were all presented to actors and actress as well as given the authority to lead the rest by the Delegate of culture who was also present. The delegate asked the new exco to surprise everybody because as it has been the case over the years, new people are elected and nothing is done

Just before I was getting comfortable with the fact that the CFI is about to take a new turn and let the dust settle, it seems I was thinking wrongly. Yesterday the 1st of June, Mr Agbor Gilbert the first PRO of the CFI and the brain behind CAMIFF took onto his Facebook wall to pass out a warning to Mr. Otia Vitalis who is the supposed former chairman of the CFI. He posted the following

Does this mean that the CFI has two different bodies that run under two different leaders of same banner the CFI?

Well, we only hope that this will be sorted out amicably and grow our young movie industry.
