Cameroon:Man shot dead for urinating by the street

Suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, a police commissioner shoots a man trying to pass out urine.

on Monday, July 11, 2016-Public Safety Commissioner of the City of Mbouda, department Bamboutos (West), suspected of being under the influence of alcohol, shot at close range, a young man trying to ease himself of urine as reported Monday morning KOACI eyewitnesses.

The circumstances of the tragedy as given by the community sources, relate a brief exchange between the officer and the young man called Joseph Talla, The police commissioner asked the young man not to urinate on the street. The latter did not comply. The police commissioner shot him on the spot from a gunshot fired from  his service weapon, "said the Ghomsi Urban witness.

After his crime, the police officer left the city to take refuge in Bafoussam, the western regional capital.
