Disabled fans take cover as Russian fans confront England fans at the end of the match during the UEFA European Championship 2016 match at the Stade Velodrome, Marseille
These sickening images show disabled England fans in wheelchairs struggling as violent Russian thugs invaded their stands at the end of last night's Euro 2016 tie.

Russian hooligans in balaclavas were seen attacking England fans in Marseille's Stade Velodrome at the final whistle.

As these pictures show, as thousands of terrified England fans ran to the exits, a number of disabled supporters were left trapped.

They can be seen struggling in their wheelchairs as the Russian thugs advance towards them.

It is not yet known if they were attacked or were helped away.

The violence came moments after Russia stunned England by scoring an injury-time equaliser to force a 1-1 draw in the sides' opening Euro 2016 game.

Women and children were apparently trampled by Russian supporters as they pushed across into the England section of the stadium.

Rebekah Vardy, the new wife of England striker Jamie, said she and fellow England supporters had been "teargassed, caged and treated like animals."

She tweeted: "That has to be up there with the worst experience EVER at an away game!
