How music and fashion can grow each other.

The Cameroon Entertainment Industry has been on a gradual but sure growth. Going down memory lane, 6years ago, growth in every sector of the industry was so farfetched. Back then, the segmentation in the industry was so pronounce as one could find the fashion industry completely not related in any way to the music industry.  However, the time factor has played an important role as this segmentation is closing up into one whole body.

Rich B
Let us take a look at the Fluri Boyz (click and like their page on facebook). This crew of two has been so amazingly involved in music and fashion.  If I said they didn’t catch my attention, I will be bluffing. Ok, enough with the beating around lets ball.
The Fluri Boyz is a crew of two, Jay Milly and Rich B; both graduates from the University of Buea. These two have been together for longer than Obama has been president of the USA. You know the huddles that come with managing a crew right? Yes, you might want to ask P Square.

Despite the huddles, they have soared above all odds and they still balling together. From their hit singles like Thursday Nyte, Hollam and Shale it’s evident they are a talent worth hailing. They got a brief deal with Red eye entertainment in the past years of their singing career that was not so lucrative for the time. However, their talent was what STM record craved for and could only but give them a record deal. They are presently signed under the renowned record Label STM Records, one of the biggest labels Cameroon has.

Fluri Boyz are the ambassadors for the clothing line Sabio Lux which is run by a couple of young Cameroonians. It is a prestigious clothing line that blends the Fabrics of the Western world with that of Africa. ‘Sabio’ is a Spanish word for wisdom or sense of good judgment. In short, Sabio Lux is the Luxury Fashion brand that depicts wisdom in your fashion sense.  This Brand’s aim is to urbanize the African Fabric to facilitate its consumption at home, as well as its consumption abroad in particular. Owing to the fact that the fashion sector in the entertainment industry is still lagging behind, this young entrepreneurs and fashionistars dream of taking the fashion industry into the global competition. This dream explains why the music industry has to work together with Fashion to make it a dream come true.

Having the Fluri Boyz run as ambassadors for this clothing line, is evident that the entertainment industry can work together from every sector to promote the whole body. This is a giant step that is worth commending. Kudios to them for such an endorsement!!!

The Fluri Boyz are presently low key working on their very first album to be released under STM Record this year and I bet they never disappoint.
